Germany Aviation - Discussions about factual events happening in the airline and general aviation industries.
If it's happening in commercial aviation, you'll get the information and opinions here first. It would be identical to the Civil Aviation forum but Helicopters are the sole focus. It would be great if we would be able to feed the latest helicopter shots into it too. The best, worst, biggest, smallest. Or seeking advice as to a preferred carrier for a trip you are planning, etc. A forum for both professionals and knowledgeable amateurs.

Condor News and Discussion - Discussions about factual events happening in the airline and general aviation industries. If it's happening in commercial aviation, you'll get the information and opinions here first. Re: Condor News and Discussion - BY lesfalls - Mon Apr 17, pm. Can we expect any route cuts in case the codeshare agreement between DE and LH is not prolonged? Semantics, I know, but it's an interline, not a codeshare which means LH is getting the full revenue out of any feed it provides. I haven't seen any stats on the value of that feed, so hard to say which routes might be cut, if any. The thing is, between agreements with tour operators purchasing seats en bloc, as well as agreements with Deutsche Bahn and plenty more air carriers, it's not like Condor is overly dependent on feed from LH. In any case, both the German and EU competition authorities have repeatedly intervened to stop LH from pulling the agreement. No reason to think this is going to change. Heck, last time it was scrutinised, LH was forced by the Budeskartellamt into offering more generous terms than the existing agreement. Can you explain the process of how LH is getting the full revenue from the interline? Seems like they have just 1 aircraft doing just routes from MUC They've announced 7 aircraft: 1 operated in-house presumably the one you refer to?
But fewer flights with forum airliners de loads. However there are NO views from inside the terminal until you go to departure lounge, through security. Well with the fleet retirement that started this year, it was going to by next year at the latest.

Heck, last time it was scrutinised, LH was forced by the Budeskartellamt into offering more generous terms than the existing agreement. For landing runway 33 is used. The funny thing is, that Willy Brandt, after whom the Airport will be named, started this mess in the 70s by Setting the Goal to "dare more democraciy". For such short flights I would always pick price over brand. The situation is completely different in the case of Eurowings: EW is a German-owned and certificated airline, and their flight crews are subject to German labor law. With any luck my future will involve a lot more time over there. Quoting lhrnue Reply 5 : After having invested heavily in their infrastructure terminal, boarding bridges, security, parking, metro to support the 2x weekly AB hub, NUE is now fighting massive dept while pax numbers decline. Plenty airlines would be willing to fill the gap. Both runways cross eachother. The restrictions run out in October of this year. Sean M also credits and quote tweets others when news is put out, which is both the right thing to do and incredibly helpful in minimising interesting news which could be missed.

In Berlin there are also a lot of trade fairs and congresses, to expand that even more, new flight connections are also helpful. They could have sold the place to a private operator, for a couple of hundred millions.
