Archer's True Name is Gilgamesh, the great half-god, half-human king born from the union between the King of Uruk, Lugalbanda, and goddess Rimat-Ninsun. He ruled the Sumerian city-state of Uruk, the capital city of ancient Mesopotamia in the B. He was an ultimate, transcendent being so divine as to be two-thirds god and one-third human, and no others in the world could match him. He was a despot possessing high divinity who believed he was invincible. He is not merely a legend, and is said to have actually existed and ruled during the Sumer Dynasty five thousand years ago. His title, King of Heroes, is not meant to call him a king who is a hero, but instead implies that he is the king over all heroes. He is mankind's oldest hero, the origin of all myths and model on which heroes are based, so his story is copied within the mythologies of all the countries of the world.

Gilgamesh is my favorite heroic spirit and character on the type moon's anime, visual novel, video game, and manga series called Fate. His power is one minor thing I like about him, his personality is what I truly like. Gilgamesh, the original hero, the king of all heroes, and the Adjudicator of Humanity he sees himself as the perfect king with no flaws ironically this is his major flaw his inability to see himself as a flawed being is why a few get to best him in battle. Now many people get this confused, Gilgamesh is not a hero nor a villain, he just wants to be entertained by mongrels. Regardless of what other heroes think of him, he has the absolute right to rule over them. Gilgamesh, once in his life time ruled over Babylon his city is call Uruk, where he collected every original weapon in the world and all the world's treasures many people who became heroes after his time followed his example of what a hero and king is suppose to be. This city Gilgamesh ruled over, was the pinnacle of wealth thanks to his perfect management. This shows how much Gilgamesh loves his people, in fact he loves them so much he is willing to sacrifice himself for them as he did when Uruk was under attack by the three goddess alliance. The king's core beliefs is this: do as you please, if it gives you pleasure then do it who cares what you are born to do, do what you want to do that, is his philosophy in life as he rebelled against the gods and sought after his own pleasures, now what these pleasures are is unknown for he says amassing wealth and collecting treasures do not give him joy or pleasure in life to him this is like second nature. Gilgamesh is also a realist, if something is true he will admit it as true for example: on Fate Extra CCC, he starts talking about how great he is to the main character, then the main character retorts, actually talking back to him and called him weak the king actually in that moment, agreed with her because it was the truth at least in that moment. Now he, maybe an arrogant, over confident, or harsh speaking man, but, as you can see he will admit when something is true meaning, he isn't a foolish person or unwise just careless that's all. Gilgamesh, is also a divine being even higher than Hercule's divinity but, since he rejects his divine nature and embraces his humanity, his divinity became lower than Hercules. Super strength, speed, durability, has the prototype form of almost every Noble Phantasm with each of them being powerful or outright broken magic weapons. He can spam weapons to anywhere in sight or just hurl them telekinetically.
He is described as handsome with an handsome face, and his eyes, crimson like blood, are visibly not those of a human and give off a mysterious radiance that makes people wither. Adrien, Franck French.

An Archer-class Servant. He appears familiar with Fuyuki City and has an overt but unrequited love for Saber. His true identity is GilGamesh, the King of Heroes. He is initially known also as the Golden Archer. In the anime, he defeats both Caster and Kuzuki. It is later revealed that he was splashed with the mud of the Holy Grail back then, converting his body to one of flesh and blood and allowing him to survive without a source of mana. Typically clad in an ornate golden armor, he possesses an immense number of Noble Phantasms so that not even Saber knows his identity. It is later revealed that they are the original copies of nearly all Noble Phantasms, stored in one of his own: Gate of Babylon: King's Treasure, a key-shaped sword that opens a portal to a mystical vault containing the Noble Phantasms. He can draw swords out individually for close combat, or fire them out of his gate like bullets. Incidentally, this method of attack made him suitable for the Archer class.

I pitch and you check okay? Caster has just made her first attack and seemingly has the heroes at her mercy. Powers Do the Fighting : While not physically weak by any means, he fights almost entirely by firing weapons from the Gate of Babylon. The anime version of the "Fate" route comes closest to averting this since Gil does actually engage in a number of melee fights there. One goddess, Ishtar the goddess of fertility, fell in love with him and proposed marriage to the perfect king. Informed Ability : Gilgamesh is said to be almost as physically strong as Saber when she's Rin's Servant and Fourth Berserker , but this trait goes under the radar, likely due to the fact that while he's as strong as them, he's not as skilled. Seeing the one who held equal power to him perish before his eyes let him register the true reality of death for the first time. His actual parameters are on-par with Saber's and he does have some skill in swordplay and a high knowledge of magecraft, but not enough to really match up to specialists. Also, during the design stage, I selfishly insisted that "Gil absolutely has to wear full golden plate armor". Da Wikipedia, l'enciclopedia libera. Gilgamesh gradually began to change after finding a friend who he considered to be an equal, and Uruk became unprecedentedly prosperous. It is an ability that bends the rules and allows for the continued materialisation of Servants even after the conclusion of the Holy Grail War. Overall, he is much more likely to simply unleash a raging wave of Noble Phantasms against "mongrels" impeding the king by attempting to use large-scale spells, completely crushing them without even giving them the time to cast. He was brought forth by predecessors like all living things, the only difference being that his predecessor was the planet, the gods.

When closed upon by a target, or simply to play with the opponent, he can freely draw weapons into his hands for melee combat. Half and half? There were other candidates that I considered, but Gilgamesh had a powerful name and an interesting legend, both of which made him perfect for the role of the "ultimate" character. Reborn as the overlord 's sister - multiverse first time writing heh for my own enjoyment anyway here goes. With a reason to search for it, he left for the underworld, Ereshkigal. Maybe if the Matou sorcery was a little more normal, he would have been willing to obediently accept his inheritance and become Tokiomi's rival for Aoi's affections. Bling of War : His golden armor, which includes giant circular shoulder pads , ornate blue details, giant golden earrings and a beautiful red cape. However, Gilgamesh despises the Gods because they killed his friend Enkidu, unleashed the Bull of Heaven onto the earth, and caused him much trouble. Enkidu believed that his actions, his tyranny over his people, extended from his ability to see even what the gods were unable to comprehend. Dual Wielding : When he actually fights in melee combat, he always uses two weapons. Through revering the gods and loving humanity, he decided to follow the path to its conclusion by deposing the gods and loathing humanity. Kaufmann, Sascha German. Takeuchi: Though I'm still not sure if we got it quite right
You are not right. I am assured. I can prove it. Write to me in PM, we will talk.
