I love this super market! Everyone is very helpful and has good selection!

Yes twisted youth agreed. People are From community but Not For the community they will turn anything and everything away if you ask. Their answer is always NO and will turn you away unlike Foodland in Waimea customer service they will work something out Malama Honokaa Managment has no thought process compasion nor better judgment. Very weak! Un happy with customer service.

Why does the Foodland Corp let the honokaa malama market misrepresent the "Malama " brand, maybe just a guess, the refrigeration and store overhaul is something that they probably want to be Worst store I have ever been in. It's a shame because it's a long drive to Wiamea.

Friday, March 15, Today's Paper Employees stock merchandise Monday in the center of the new Malama Market in Pahoa. At 35, square feet, it is more than three times larger than its previous location down the road. The new store provided 60 news jobs for residents, bringing the total number of employees to Employees from the previous location transitioned to the new Malama Market. A tall, intricate wooden ceiling welcomes customers to the store, which will have a hot food counter, an expanded deli lineup, a full-service bakery and an Anytime Bar, which will serve juices, smoothies, tea, coffee as well as wine, cocktails, beer and kombucha.
