I have tattooed my way around the world for fifteen years. Through this process I have worked alongside, been taught by, and ultimately been taken under the wing of some of the Godparents of the global contemporary tattoo industry, who collectively continue to preserve the root of the art form while actively encouraging its revival. Similarly, I have been incredibly lucky to have secured access to the outlet of the tattoo press; publications who understand and share my passion to document the practises and knowledge of tribal elders and tattoo historians, some of whom I've met in the most remote regions on Earth. Piecing the expeditions of recent years together my book film series seemed vital, to capture the stories of everyone I have sought out and met along the way, the gatekeepers of the craft who collectively future-proof our past. Tattooing can be be arranged by pre-booking as I like to work with each client, one on one from the first consultation through to the final sitting. All designs, from geometric patters to mandala are completely bespoke and unique to each client. I enjoy the creative freedom designing the perfect tattoo to fit the body and have clarity over time but of course welcome working with you to develop your design ideas and concepts.

Ook kunt je bij ons terecht voor het zetten van een piercing hier is geen afspraak voor nodig. Onze piercing ruimte is geheel prive en er is iedere dag een vrouwelijke piercer aanwezig. Ook is er ruim keus uit diverse piercing sieraden. Van basic zit bij de prijs inbegrepen Tot luxere sieraden voorzien van bijvoorbeeld zirkonia, swarovski of opaal het is er allemaal. Van externe piercing sieraden tot interne piercing sieraden. Graag adviseren we je bij het maken van je keuze. Wij nemen ruim de tijd voor onze klanten zodat er alle tijd is voor het stellen van vragen, het geven van informatie en de juiste adviezen. Dit is echter wel heel belangrijk: u wilt niet dat u piercing ontstoken raakt of dat u zelfs besmet raakt met allerlei enge ziektes. De vergunning is drie jaar geldig. Deze vergunningen zullen zichtbaar aanwezig in de shop. Zonder geldige vergunning mogen er geen werkzaamheden worden verricht.

Meraki Fade is an internationally renowned tattoo artist, working out of her own studio in Brighton, UK. She has tattooed worldwide, studying and documenting both tattooing and tattoo anthropology in remote tribal cultures. Over many years through interviews, film, photography and other mediums, Meraki has documented the cultural significance, purpose, symbolism, and history of traditional tattoo art among isolated tribes in Borneo, West Sumatra, Easter Island and Tahiti. She is the only European tattoo artist trained in the ancient art of hand tap tattooing which she learned while living with the Iban head-hunter tribes in Sarawak, Borneo. This year she is releasing a book documenting her world travels, focussing on tattoo anthropology and specifically the tattoo art of traditional tribes.
