Larian Studios has released Hotfix 5 for Baldur's Gate 3 , which fixes a bug that was preventing players from unlocking certain dialogue options for Minthara. Minthara, the Drow Paladin, is one of many companions in Baldur's Gate 3 players can romance, but some have been experiencing issues with certain lines of dialogue not triggering properly, specifically romance dialogue. It turns out that a bug was causing this problem and the latest update has officially addressed it, allowing players to progress their romance with Minthara to Act 3 if their approval is high enough, while also unlocking new lines of dialogue to "deepen the relationship" and learn more about her backstory. Additionally, other companions will comment on the relationship and "may even find themselves on Minthara's bad side there is no good side; we've looked really hard for it should they have their own romantic entanglements with you. Alongside the main highlight, the update also addresses a series of performance and multiplayer issues, graphical fixes for the PS5 version , as well as some problems that may have been plaguing certain story missions.

Joined: Aug She's supposed to, but the new wall everyone is running into is that after a newly restored conversation to affirm the romance flag when your approval is high enough Withers will recognize a Minthara romance after this conversation , she'll imply a newly restored scene will happen when you rest for the night and then it does not. This can happen in Act 2 if her approval is high enough then rather than in Act 3. So whatever scene is supposed to trigger doesn't, and while it seems some ambient chatter about her romance state is working, any other romance content in direct dialogues with her is still bugged to hell. It's possible some of the MANY people discussing there only being one restored conversation may have somehow locked themselves out of more since Minthara is not open to poly and thus any prior romance engagements in the save may be tripping some other flag with her but it seems that the case is simply that her very stupid bug remains very stupid and buggy. I'd love to see all the scenes working on a save Larian has access to because no one else seems to have it working. She still dosen't have interactions to a lot of things happening, things that all the companions have.

The cutscenes with her didn't allow for private conversations, i. Since then I always got "the cold shoulder".

Baldur's Gate 3's next big patch is releasing soon, and by all accounts it will be a chonky one , featuring a host of performance improvements and other fixes. There's still work to be done though, including addressing Minthara , who has been hobbled by what director Swen Vincke describes as a "very, very stupid bug. Speaking with IGN, Vincke talked about how the scope of Baldur's Gate 3 can cause cascading reactions that can sometimes lock out content by accident. Such is the case with Baldur's Gate 3's drow murderess.

Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Hel This can happen in Act 2 if her approval is high enough then rather than in Act 3.
