No, it will not be multiplayer only. Multiplayer is probably the biggest feature of the game. However there will be single player. However there will be improvements in different parts of the game making the game more interesting. I remember seeing a feature compilation on official forum but cant find it right now, sorry. Currently only multiplayer beta was made public, while single player beta is only given to few chosen modders. There will only be single battles, including siege and etc.
