Founded by David Johnson in 56 years agothe Oldham Theatre Workshop has a purpose-built studio located in its own building off Oldham 's Union Street, in company with a gallery, a museum and a library. We provide a wide range of drama and theatre related workshops acting, improvisation, singing, dancing and design for young people aged and opportunities to perform in major theatre productions. We also support local schools by delivering teacher training and drama activities both in and out of school time and undertake partnership projects with community groups and other agencies who wish to use drama as a medium for learning.
