The Saiyan method of conquering planets is to send a single Saiyan warrior into space so that they can subdue a planet and bring the population under the control of Lord Frieza. This would mean that Viltrumites and Saiyans employ the same strategy of conquest as one another. But the comparisons don't end there; both Viltrumites and Saiyans possess incredible superhuman strength, speed, and the ability to fly, making them some of the most powerful fighters in their respective universes. Additionally, both of these alien species are described as having warlike cultures where children are raised to value strength and combat prowess above everything else. As one of planet Viltrum's warrior elite, Omni-Man's mission is identical to the one Son Goku was given when he was sent to Earth as a baby. If Goku hadn't gotten amnesia as a child, it's likely he would have grown into an alien conquerer like Omni-Man. Although Nolan claims that his time on Earth meant nothing to him, the Invincible comics later reveal that living among humans and starting a family deeply affected him.
