We were very pleased to see that this distinctive coffee shop was still here. It is right in the heart of the shopping area but easy to miss as it is accessed by a single door and a steep flight of stairs. The interior is Before the 3rd national lockdown descended my twin brother Stephen and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and visit some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, as we got into town early we dropped Housed in a wonderful and evocative looking Victorian building dating from ,the interior is superb,you ascend a flight of stairs, there's three rooms each beautifully decorated and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe ,its a wonderful place to unwind in. We were here on a Wednesday morning, we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system on our N. S covid app on our phones, we ordered a flat white coffee each, these were served steaming hot, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great cafe we were in. The coffee served here is superb, the quality is evident from the first sip, it was so good being in such a lovely cafe enjoying a quality brew. We both really enjoyed our coffee's in here before moving on, had a great time and when the 3rd national lockdown and hopefully the last is lifted look forward to visiting here again. Rococo Coffee House is easy to locate along Lord Street.

The early years were tough, not least because Rococo is in an upstairs location, accessed by a staircase, and has no ground floor shopfront on the high street. As part of that, the owners and staff have worked hard to create an outstanding environment for customers and offer a personal service where possible. The biggest hurdle is getting them to come up the stairs.
