During the first few days, I feel a bit lethargic and have a mild headache , this seems fairly common amongst those new to the program as our bodies go through a bit of a detox and adjustment. This fills me up and keeps me going until either i get to work or finish in the gym and I need to eat pretty much as soon as I wake up.

So I might try a shake as a replacement for one meal a day. Can anyone advise which are the nicest? Whether an SPR one or another brand? If it's any help I'm doing the food only version thinking the same as you to start with and it's been fine. There are quite a few easy things you can make. Can't help on the shakes as I just don't fancy them! It is just easier! The SPR ones are the best tasting. I also like the Optimum Nutrition ones. The food prep does take a while. The best way is to batch cook and freeze in portions.

So into the final leg of my Six Pack Revolution journey and the last 15 days of the program. For this period we are told to cut caffeine and strictly follow a new meal plan. The main changes are to eliminate starchy carbs. I have a confession to make here and that is that I could not deal with cutting coffee out. Travelling away from home for 3 days a week with 4 am starts and training for this program and my first-ever half marathon take their toll not to mention the fact that I have a demanding job in the City. So, I reduced my consumption down to 1 black coffee a day and will totally eliminate it for the final 3 days. I am fine with this! I am enjoying the workouts and certainly noticing an improvement in my overall strength and fitness.
