Ashley and Carly Clark purchased Splitters Farm in mid with a view to give their five children the benefit of a farm-based rural upbringing. Ashley Clark began flower farming at age 16 and went on to become an electrician. Carly Clark grew up on acreage as a kid in South West Sydney and always loved animals. Her very first job at 14 was picking up eggs on a battery hen farm so she was also exposed to animal cruelty through unsustainable farming practices from a young age.
