Hops are a crop in Stardew Valley. They can be grown during the Summer and take 11 days to mature and keeps producing everyday. They sell through the shipping container for No Star: 25g, Silver: 31g, Gold: 37g each. Hops do have a special way of growing, after reaching the matured state hops will be grown each day making it a vital source for creating pale ale with the use of a keg. Pale ale sells for g or for g if the players chooses the artisan talent upon reaching max farming skill; so hops generate a lot of money when grown in bulk in combination with brewing. While it is possible to make a tidy profit by selling the raw fruit if you can set up a large amount of kegs you will be able to produce pale ale year round using your stockpiles. The product itself isn't that profitable, but when you put then in kegs, you are ready for a good 12x value from it if you're using normal quality ones. Here is some info that i want to share about what i searched so far. Observation: Using only spots for each seed 10 hops and 10 blueberries, but 20 starfruits , with a level 0 farmer, no fertilizer, using 10 jars and kegs, counting the entire summer. Profit subtracts seed value from it. Also, 3 important things to remember: 1- Starfruits are locked in the desert, meaning that you will need 42k gold to just unlock it, and gold per ticket.
