The longest promise ending explained
Even before the first episode was aired, many people were already lining up to watch the drama. Even if you are not, this will still be a drama to watch out for given all the hype and publicity.
Is it a cliffhanger or not? A happy ending or a bad one? And thus far, the reaction has been mixed. Why mess with a good thing right? Given that this is the live action format, perhaps writers were going for the added drama which we all know cdramas want to do. But wow sometimes seeing the extra suffering the main characters have to go through is frustrating.
The longest promise ending explained
The Longest Promise ended today with its quick episode run over two weeks and Tencent did try a bit in promos but nothing close to what it could be doing having a drama anchored by Xiao Zhan and also getting high views and online buzz. For those of you who liked it, share your finale thoughts. I hate the last one. The protagonists are the nicest people and give many chances to the antagonists to survive. The story is unusual for a drama. Stressed watching the antagonists resurrect again and again. Wish they stick to the book ending and the story for the 2nd male lead as someone who just care for the female lead in a paternal way. Find the acting good for all and almost everyone looks like they fit into the story, esp the male lead and 2nd male lead the merman. The Longest Promise is sizzling hot on various social media. The streaming volume has way beyond 1 billion with other celebrities trailing way behind. There are A LOT of positive reviews out there, either from ordinary viewers or main stream professional critics. Drama viewers flooded in Douyin etc. Ppl now have MANY sites to go to and feel more engaged in the sizzling discussions about the drama over there.
Of course, if you like her character, then the drama will become more engrossing given the romance between them. I enjoyed the whole thing.
The Longest Promise Chinese drama has been on the hot searches on various platforms many times since its broadcast. The most attractive thing is Shi Ying, played by Xiao Zhan, who is surprising both in terms of image and personality. It tells the story of the lonely and cold Crown Prince Shi Ying of Kongsang and the passionate and righteous Princess Zhu Yan of the Chi tribe, who are destined to be together and protect Yunhuang. The killing of gods by mortals is unprecedented in ancient times, and it starts with me. From serving the gods to killing the gods, the story has a sense of mission that goes against the will of heaven from the very beginning. The heroine Zhu Yan used the hosta to escape from marriage. After successfully escaping, she met the master who came to handle the matter, Shi Ying, who was then Shao Si Ming divine officer of Jiuyi Mountain.
Even before the first episode was aired, many people were already lining up to watch the drama. Even if you are not, this will still be a drama to watch out for given all the hype and publicity. Check out The Longest Promise review below for my analysis. My rating: 7. He is supposedly born with a divine spirit and has excellent cultivation skills with its magical spells. Shi Ying is righteous and fair even from a young age. He also has a kind heart with a benevolent mother who was the Empress of Kong Sang. His father is Emperor Bei Mian.

Of course, if you like her character, then the drama will become more engrossing given the romance between them. Shi Ying was saddened by her decision but respected her choice. As Shi Ying learns that his master is scheming to have Xue Lu as his first disciple, he tries to help Zhu Yan to improve her cultivation skills so that she could fight for the position. It emphasizes the enduring power of love to shape destinies and the strength of characters who face adversity with unwavering determination. The production level, acting skills was also beautiful. This is a comment so that you can get the attention you need. Shi Ying regretted not being able to give Zhu Yan a lively wedding and promised to hold a grand celebration for her once the crisis in Kongsang was resolved. You are being ignored. The question is just whether there is an interesting plot and a script to make it truly epic. The Ice Clan sage is Lang Xuan. From serving the gods to killing the gods, the story has a sense of mission that goes against the will of heaven from the very beginning. ZY will jump in and not let them get away with it. I like the story.
Is it a cliffhanger or not? A happy ending or a bad one?
I thought it was great. Well, Zhu Yan manages to trick him away from the god rings and also to tell her how to use it. I stayed up to binge watch last few eps. As Kong Sang has fallen and degenerated, Lang Xuan wants to destroy and rebuild it so that he can give back to Bai Wei a prosperous world that she had fought for. Every time a new bud appeared, the anticipation and yearning grew stronger, as people wondered if this would be the year that Shi Ying's words would ring true. That was her choice and a bad one. By mentioning that Zhu Yan and her clan might be targeted due to her association with him could force Shi Ying to leave the mountain to protect her. The visuals are beautiful with the great graphics and the acting is good overall. No wonder many viewers exclaimed: From now on, the gods in Chinese costume dramas have faces. TLP has been getting pretty good reviews from C professional critics and newspapers, saying the drama revolutionizes typical xianxia in many concepts.
In my opinion you are mistaken. Let's discuss it. Write to me in PM, we will talk.
Very curiously :)
