Tooele City Police have confirmed several vehicles were involved in an accident on Vine Street minutes before a semi went through the front of the Tooele Motor Company building, starting a fire at the building's east side. This semi had struck multiple vehicles on its way into the building. Officials say the fire has since been extinguished but not before leaving extensive damage to the building itself. The vehicles struck by the semi-truck include 10 to 15 brand-new vehicles. Police say as many as 11 individuals were affected during the incidents, with one individual being flown to a hospital in critical condition. Originally Main Street was closed down from North to North. Northbound traffic through Main Street has since been reopened as crews continue to clean up debris. The driver of the semi-truck is cooperating with the investigation, an investigation into the earlier crash on Vine Street is also ongoing. For Tooele resident Tony Garner, his life flashed before his own eyes when the crash interrupted his otherwise routine errand run. He was covered in blood.

Nearly a dozen people were hurt on Friday when a gravel truck reportedly lost its brakes and crashed into an auto dealership in Tooele, Utah. The Tooele Police Department started receiving calls about the crash at p. Police say that a 26 year old truck driver was hauling two loaded gravel trailers when the vehicle experienced suspected brake or some other mechanical failure. The runaway truck went through several intersections, striking five vehicles and then crashing into 27 vehicles at Tooele Motor Company in the area of North and Main Street. The crash sparked a large fire at the auto dealership. Dash cam video captured on Friday shows the truck barreling through an intersection prior to crashing. Investigators say that at least 33 vehicles were involved in the crash including the gravel truck. Eleven people were injured. One person was airlifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The truck driver was not hurt.

A fire erupted at a car dealership in Tooele as crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash in the area on Nov.
