Dracthyr Evokers were created to wield the magic of all five dragonflights, and seek to forge their own path in Azeroth. They can empower their draconic abilities through magic, charging up their attacks and unleashing them at the right moment to devastating effect, and use their superior mobility to dart in and out of the fray as the situation demands. Evokers possess special Empowered abilities that they can use to change the strength of a spell or ability as it is cast. Wise Evokers take advantage of those empowered spells and fight from a moderate range, demolishing foes with fiery breath attacks or restoring allies to keep them in the fight. Devastation Evokers use the power of the red and blue dragonflights to do devastating damage to their foes, while Preservation Evokers use the power of the green and bronze dragonflights to heal their allies in battle. For as long as war has raged, heroes from every race have aimed to master the art of battle.

Starting at level 58, dracthyr evokers will explore their own starting zone , separate from the rest of the races and classes of Azeroth , the Forbidden Reach. Before stepping foot on new uncharted land, players will be able to pick their faction - Horde or Alliance - on the character creation screen, similar to the pandaren. Dragonflight is required to play the evoker class, and players are limited to one evoker per realm.
