Various Zombicide Resources This sums up what I love about this game. My wife and I had the good fortune of being able to back this on Kickstarter and get all the bonuses along with it. Archived from the original PDF on Each zombie gets a single action to either attack or move, except for the runner who gets two. Overall, this is a very cool game. It helps greatly that they can focus on their characters while I worry about opening doors, zombie spawning and movement. In Conclusion In the process of writing this review I asked some of the regular players for additional tips, tricks, and strategy. Your First Name. I then opened up the rulebook and started reading. All in all this game is fantastic, and worth trying out. Below is a list of all released content for each of the settings and spin-off games, sorted by their SKU. About the Targeting Priority Rule Many players actively bemoan Zombicide's rule which says that if you shoot a gun into a crowd which contains both zombies and other Survivors, you will , with absolute certainty , hit the former Survivors first. This game draws everyone together but is kind of lame when someone dies early as they have to sit and watch. The "hitting survivors first" rule, which seems to pain most players when they first start playing the game, was a largely-unrecognized stroke of genius on the designer's part, as it eliminates the problem of your ostensibly coop buddy taking that shot only because he "might" miss you and hit the zombies instead. Zombicide is fun to play with 6 players, and since it is cooperative it is a very social experience, but the rules and theme are probably a bit intense to recommend this for a party or social get together. Combat between a human and a zombie is done using equipment cards. Competence came pretty quickly… the easier missions oddly, not mission 2, which is the first real mission after the tutorial were winnable within a game or two, and the more difficult ones could be tackled after 5 or so games. Overall, this is a very cool game. Players start with a choice of three actions, ranging from moving to attacking to opening doors to making noise for distracting zombies etc. The playing area is built with board tiles and features icons representing cars, doors and objectives according to the selected mission.
