Given that creation of this site was inspired by the Fluval Spec aquariums, fluval spec 3, I thought it was well past time to get my hands on the fluval spec 3 brother in the family, the Fluval Spec III. I have had a Spec V setup for about two years. It is the 5 gallon capacity model; the Spec III I am looking at here is 3 gallons — actually they say it is 2.
