Read on to find out! They are lightweight. This was great when opening the boxes and getting the stools set up. But…they are still sturdy! These stools are very well made; you can see at each spot where the wood meets. They are kid-proof. The material the stools are made of can easily be wiped clean. That means no more fabric stools with 3 kids getting stained all the time. I love that these are so easy to clean! They swivel degrees. Most stools only swivel a bit from side to side and then snap back to the middle again. These stools swivel around degrees in either direction! This is so great with kids. They are so versatile. Dress them up, dress them down, they fit into almost any kitchen decor!

I love having people keep me company while I cook, so comfortable island seating was important to me. And I noticed that after we got these stools, people were more likely to sit and chat for a while. Unlike other styles of counter stools, the Balboa is lovely when viewed from the front, side, and back—which is especially great for us, because they sit right in the middle of our kitchen and are seen from every angle. I love everything about the Balboa design: the variations in tone, the natural texture, the slightly angled leg lines, and the brass footrests and end caps. Each stool comes with a tailored seat cushion, available in several colors, patterns and finishes, including stripes and gingham. Our Balboa stools have played a part in big family occasions like birthdays, family reunions, and holidays, as well as small get-togethers with friends. I also love that the seat cushions have a rubberized bottom to prevent them from sliding around. The cushioned seats and back support make the Balboa stools extra comfortable, even for long meals or chats.
